As a student at the University of Florida, I have involved myself in diverse organizations to grow my leadership skills. Not long after getting to UF, I involved myself in my Residence Hall Council as the Treasurer. Throughout my experiences in that position, I was elected to the executive board the following year where with my fellow executive board members, we put on events for thousands of UF residents. Also, I worked at the O'Connell Center as a crew member, was soon promoted to Technical Supervisor and was then promoted again to Division Head. As division head, I manage the 26 supervisors within our division and have other administrative duties. Also, I have been involved with two organizations within the business college, the Business Undergraduate Mentorship Program and the Heavener Leadership Challenge. Through these clubs I have learned skills to help mentor incoming freshman and learned ways to think about leadership. Throughout my time at UF, I have learned about leadership and have developed my leadership skills. I plan to utilize these skills in a finance career when I graduate.
