My time at Omron was spent designing solutions for new mobile autonomous robots. This includes the entire life cycle from proof of concept, to prototype, to production, to launch. I supported production transfer to Japan and other global product factories. Days here at Omron Robotics Safety and Technologies, as a new product integration division of Omron, are pleasantly balanced between design, and hands on building/testing of the new robots on the floor. I work closely with local and international contract manufacturers to drive solutions from proof of concept to launch.
