With nearly 18 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and almost 12 years in the construction industry, I collaborate with professional ARCHITECTS, DESIGNERS and BUILDERS across the nation, including international locations in Mexico, Baja California and Costa Rica areas to develop window and door solutions for their custom high-end residential and commercial building projects. Managed over 35 employees manufacturing Vinyl windows from Single Hung's to Half Vents to Casements and Specialty windows such as radius, gables, round and arch top windows. Managed and training over 40 employees manufacturing Insulated Glass units made from Intercept equipment and production lines, including Bridge stations and Foam Spacer applications. Established Standard Operating Procedures and trained for all existing and new employees. Implemented and managed quality systems through Job Process Requirements (JPR) reducing re-work to help reduce labor hours and improving efficiencies from 7.75 to just over 10.0% consistently for over two years. Established audits for various sections improving quality. Implemented a new production line reducing wasted space and focused on 5S and Kaizen events to improve quality and efficiencies. Built relationships with suppliers to improve quality and material and helped reduce material waste. Created commitment boards to establish goals and guidelines and paid out monthly bonuses to hourly employees.
