As a Director with the Grant Thornton I lead on a portfolio of public sector audits across the South West and Midlands as the statutory appointed auditor.I am a CIPFA qualified accountant. I worked for the Audit Commission for over 28 years and have extensive knowledge of the NHS and local government. I have performed worked on various aspects of the Audit Commission’s audit regime including input into national studies and being part of a team undertaking comprehensive performance assessments within local government. I spent a year as a managing associate within the Southern Regional Improvement Team delivering advice and assistance work to clients wanting specialist audit input and expertise.
