About Peter Barrett
Brimlea is a stand-alone privately owned and run facility in Murrumbeena, in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The facility has been owned and operated by the Mallios family since 2000. The facility has 90 residential care beds, catering to all levels of dependency, with ageing in place. The management and staff give their all to ensure that the residents are happy and well cared for. Visitors frequently comment on how clean the facility is and what a pleasant atmosphere there is. I have been D.O.N. at Brimlea since December 2007 and have just been through my third successful re-accreditation audit. It takes teamwork to keep both the residents and AACQA happy and I believe that we have built an excellent team here at Brimlea.
