These objectives are achieved through measurement, data analysis, supply chain processes, internal supply chain audits, audits of our Heli-One maintenance repair organization(MRO), external audits of OEMs, MROs, vendors and suppliers of aeronautical product, management review, investigations on occurrences and root cause & corrective actions on both internal supply chain and external vendor issues

Global

Manages vendor quality performance, and assists the organization to continuously reduce cost of quality and TAT impact due to vendor performance issues. These objectives are achieved through measurement, data analysis, vendor audits and management review, investigations on occurrences and root cause & corrective action on supply chain issues.

Part of the global customer support team responsible for responding to and auctioning urgent customer orders for Priority 1 (AOG - (Aircraft On Ground)) and 2 (PAOG) situations as deemed necessary.Use all means available to search global sources to fulfill the requirement; including sourcing from outside vendors as appropriate, directly coordinating the logistics of moving aircraft parts quickly to remote locations 24/7. This includes, but is not limited to: chartering planes and navigating parts by ground and over water. Responsible for global communication, coordination, and troubleshooting via telephone, email, Excel and Word. Liaise with other company personnel and outside agencies, which may include the negotiation of contracts with vendors and suppliers. Prioritizing Aircraft On Ground through daily teleconference meetings.

Air Canada Heavey Maintenance

Billing and customer liaison, including dispute resolution. Daily production meetings, daily customer update meetings. Validation of man hours, parts, and materials including discrepancy negotiations

Air Canada Vancouver

Coordinating and supervising all trades in a heavy maintenance setting, up to 75 personnel, including liaise with alternate shift. Led morning production meeting; prioritizing daily jobs with lead hands. Writing daily status reports for base director

Air Canada/ Canadian Airlines

All stages of airframe maintenance. Sheet metal and composites; overhaul and repair including inspection, research, liaise with engineer, design and fabrication of repair parts, installation on aircraft, computer tracking of parts and repair processes as per manufacturer's repair manual and in accordance with transport Canada guidelines. Training and supervision of apprentices. Includes work on the following aircraft types: DC10, Boeing 737,747, 767, 777, Airbus 319, 320, 321, 310, 330, 340, Embraer 170, 190
