Peter retired in Feb 2019 following a 22 year season at Bickerton Masters_ , the Architectural practice he co-founded with Andrew Masters in 1997. BM_ now employs over 50 staff in Australia's 3 eastern seaboard States . Peter's roles included Director, Senior Principal, General Manager, Board Chair and Leader of the Education Facilities team. He also has a keen interest in the 'Community' sector including Special Needs Accommodation and Facilities, Aged Care, Health, Church and allied work.As a registered Architect and Builder he has skills and interests in all project phases including Pre-design Briefing, Master Planning, Design, Detailed Documentation, Construction and Post-occupancy.Peter has served on numerous community and not-for-profit committees and boards, and this continues in this next phase. His long-standing passion for these sectors informed much of the work BM_ undertook and resulted in invitations to participate in and address forums in these sectors. He values finding purpose and sustainable balance in busy professional lives.
