As Renewals Manager for this software consultancy and developer, I manage renewals for more than 10,000 customers across 40 products and £80MN recurring revenue. Responsible for developing and implementing renewals strategies, I ensure delivery against requirements when reviewing and translating key points of contracts. Built and led a team of Renewals Representatives.  Added new customer success plans to existing customer base to create enhanced plans and achieve £500k of additional Accounting Rate of Return (ARR).

Working within Hospital Sterilisation Services (HSS) to lead development of business with new and existing customers across non-core products for Synergy Health Plc, a company delivering a range of specialist outsourced services to healthcare providers, I also led acquisitions across the European region. Responsible for developing and implementing 5-year business plans, I supported financial operations by delivering an optimal cash management profile and played the lead role in managing relationships with in excess of 200 customers. As a key member of the Board, I led continuous improvement, renegotiated multiple Italian contracts and integrated purchased companies incorporating RFID technology products, product trials and instruction repair businesses, delivering complete solutions. Improved reporting and facilitated greater financial controls through the successful implementation of a new finance system. Integrated financial performance in line with Group policy, controls and standardised processes. Successfully turned around a HSS acquisition from loss making of €500k to a profit of €1M. Developed and embedded a flexible 3-year pricing strategy with additional value-added services to win new core and non-core services business. Established a footprint in a previously unexplored market by bringing a successful HSS tender to Turkey, in collaboration with a Turkey-based BDM.

Leading the design / implementation of a new accounting, operational and pricing system, as well as a KPI framework, across the Hospital Sterilisation Division (HSS), I was finance’s main point of contact for customers and led a financial team of 8, including 6 Qualified Accountants and 2 PQs, involving succession planning and CI. For the decontamination division, I developed and implemented the pricing strategy as major project lead. In addition, I developed and embedded group, divisional and operational strategy. Compiled and rolled out annual budgets, forecasts and business plans. Produced monthly management accounts to include balance sheet & cash flow. Increased turnover from £42m (2009) to £58M (2011) and operating profit from £7M to £9M. Implemented upfront payments for services to maximise cashflow and improved debtor days by 15 days. Ensured continuity of financial control, understanding and guidance to facilitate steady growth. Achieved over budget performance and provided full support on major capital spends of the business through delivery and implementing budgets.
