Topics included the Wolfcamp play, fractured reservoirs, and Petra applications. - Worked in various unconventional plays in the western USA, including Niobrara, Chainman, and Atoka/Cherokee Shales.- Assisted operator to market 42,000-acre lease block in the Mississippian Lime Play in NE Colorado

Centennial, Colorado

- Conducted geologic study of Paleozoic section in Denver Basin, emphasizing black shales of the Atoka & Cherokee black shales (Pennsylvanian age) as a new resource play.- Member of team that used results of that geologic study to drill 10-wells, resulting in 9 oil producers, with estimated reserves of 100,000 BO per well.

Lakewood, Co

- Worked on studies of Coalbed methane in New Zealand and Australia (Bowen Basin).- Mapped coalbed methane zones in Piceance, San Juan, and Michigan Basins.- Used coal thickness & spatial extent plus gas content data to create a coalbed methane exploration model in Zimbabwe (Zambezi Basin). This lead to 2 core holes being drilled.
