• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001.• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the laboratory's quality system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025.• Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.• Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports.• Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.• Driving compliance and performance across the standards to achieve improvements in product quality.• Lead investigations (8D) into noncompliance and implement corrective actions.• Produce and provide guidance and review comment on the preparation of deliverables such as Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, Work Procedures, Business Operating Procedures, Material Approval, Quality Record Templates, Quality KPI Status Reports, Work Instructions, and so on.• Management of the Quality Engineers and Inspection Technicians in the sign-off of parts and the resolution of internal/external quality concerns.

Oversees and ensures that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently whilest maintaining health and safety regulations and also quality standards are met. Supervision of the production line and its staff, ensuring KPI targets are met. Planning and organising production schedules. Assessing project and resource requirements. Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers. Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met. Review worker performance and identify training needed.

Supervision of all production activities both pre-cast and post cast

• Project management incorporating the redesign and re-layout of production lines to reduce lead times and improve productivity.• Developed and implemented business continuous improvement strategy• Document processes, task instructions, communicate these processes through formal /informal channels and formal training methods.• Work study to determine standard times for manufacturing processors• Design and manufacture of jigs and fixtures to improve or assist the manufacturing process• Interpret customer requirements into workable production plans• Provide accurate process documentation for all products/processes and develop standards for new processes including sourcing and implementation of new equipment• Conduct investigations into specific product related production "shop floor" failures, analysis and recommendations for corrective action• Support other members of the engineering and manufacturing teams • Provide day-to-day engineering support to production and inspection departments
