I have a short history at Grove Printing in various positions from pre-press down the production line finishing orders. Steve Braswell is the owner of Grove Printing as well as myfather who has been teaching me and my brother Patrick the tricks of the trade.Grove Printing offers a wide range of paper products and a even bigger range of machines to complete the orders. I have been coming to Grove Printing since I was a little kid, so I have grown up in a print shop. The first positions I filled when I started working at grove were the simple ones, boxing orders for the cutter operator, cleaning the building, distributing supplies to employees, taking out the trash etc witch was the first year. After this first year it gave me enough knowledge and understanding of equipment to start being trained to operate various machines. The first machine I was trained to operate was the Tec Lighting Ultra Violet Coating press, it took me about two weeks to start running the machine and 2 months to become familiar with parts incase of mechanical failure. I then started to go down the line of finish machines, Polar 78x Cutter, Die Cutting, Folding, Padding and Bindery, at this point I am almost 3 years into Grove Printing and I am familiar with all of the finish machines. From here I started to work towards printing, Ryobi\Hamada Press assistant, K.M. BizHub c8000 Digital Copier operator\tech.Now I am 4 years into Grove Printing and I started pre-press, Creo Trendsetter Quantum 400 plate processor, File conversion and Press-Sheet configuration. I have become familiar with various programs such as adobe design products, quarkxpress, Fusion Pro (variable data), microsoft word\powerpoint\excel.
