Set up the new paleoclimate dynamics lab at Syracuse University with Dr. Tripti Bhattacharya. Coordinated with contractors to ensure lab specifications were met while also preparing the lab for research project examining ocean surface warming in models and proxy records through time.

Co-led the development of an environmental asset database for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA), requiring extensive site research, coordination with IT specialists, and adaptation to MBTA's specific needs. Managed all phases of due diligence work in the state of Massachusetts for various private and public groups. Conducted and wrote phase I and II environmental site assessments, interpreted the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and EPA regulations for clients, and oversaw and monitored construction activities that disturbed soil or groundwater. Utilized isotope ratio mass spectrometry in Boston College's Center for Isotope Geochemistry to measure oxygen isotope ratios of planktonic foraminifera from the Gulf of Mexico Mississippi River delta. Collaborated with researchers at MIT's McGee lab to analyze isotopes of calcite collected from speleothem proxies harvested across a latitudinal transect in Western Canada. Thesis titled “Late Pleistocene Speleothem Records of Canadian Permafrost and Climate” revealed extensive degradation of permafrost in past interglacial cycles, pointing to the need for more research clarifying dynamics of permafrost degradation in warmer climates.

While completing undergraduate degree, trained to be an ACE-certified personal trainer.
