I oversee a great team of 50 professionals responsible for all of ABA's external and member communications, marketing, media relations and the ABA Foundation. We help tell the story of America's banks and the important role the industry plays in driving the U.S. economy every day. Prior to coming to ABA I oversaw Public Affairs for the Department of Defense and was honored to serve as Pentagon Press for former Secretary for Secretary of Defense Ash Carter. Before that, I spent nearly 25 years as a broadcast journalist with a front row seat to four presidential elections, too many hurricanes and one death row execution. I'm a big believer in facts, fairness and hard work. I'm one of the few Washingtonians who can say they were born in the District of Columbia, and I root for all of our local sports teams with pride but not always joy.
