Based in the UK with periodic visits to the construction sites. Responsibilities included assessing contractual claims, providing contractual advice to clients, preparing reports, and attending and presenting evidence at dispute hearings. Recent projects include:• Bako to Nekempte Road Rehabilitation Project, Oromia, EthiopiaA World Bank funded road improvement scheme for the realignment and reconstruction of 46km of single carriageway through the mountainous Oromia region west of Addis Ababa. Office Manager for Amey’s Lewes office from February 2006 to March 2011 with overall responsibility for approx 80 staff and for the delivery of the office business plan covering approximately £3.4m of services per annum to central and local government clients.

Developed the company’s transportation planning capability, identifying new opportunities with existing clients, winning new clients, recruiting key staff, preparing training plans, and growing the business.

Associate in charge of the Civil Engineering Group at Campbell Reith Hill, a multi-disciplinary civil and structural engineering practice based in London, Redhill, and Dubai. Responsible for financial and technical management of a variety of infrastructure and transportation projects for public and private sector clients both in the UK and overseas. Also responsible for the management of existing client portfolios and tendering for new business.
