An experienced property development professional with extensive experience in commercial property development. A work history that began in construction and moved to project management (client side) and to development management.Commenced employment with the Port of Brisbane in early 2018, tasked to deliver several industrial projects including Qld Glass and Steelforce warehouses (value approx $21.0m). Since completing the D&C Contract (value of approx $70M) for the new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal in 2020, have been delivering the Ports Property team industrial projects. Six projects were successfully completed in 2022, at an approx. value of $62M with a possible 12 projects to be delivered in the next eighteen months.Experienced in managing a range of project types and sizes. Types of projects managed include office buildings, warehouses, shopping centres, residential apartments, school buildings, industrial sub-divisions, hotels and others. I use my extensive experience to apply active, controlled project management, rather than reactive, crisis management, which seems to be more common. I prefer to manage the project rather than having the project manage me. This approach results in better project outcomes. Projects that are delivered quicker, cheaper, with better quality and long term durability.
