As a Director within a national business, the role is primarily centred on client interaction and associated execution of equity trades within the largest stock markets across the globe, including the New York Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange and the local Australian Securities Exchange, operating within Westpac’s Private and Business Banks. In addition, the role includes the pricing and distribution of securities in the over-the-counter markets both domestically and globally, including bonds, floating rate notes, asset backed securities and associated derivatives.

Westpac Private Bank is responsible in servicing high net worth clients ($2m-$25m funds undermanagement) and ultra-high net worth clients ($25m+ funds under management) with all theirfinancial requirements. Premium Wealth Services focuses on wealth creation and management.The role involved selling financial solutions to a diverse range of clients which extended from wholesale high net worth clients to ultra high net worth clients (including leaders of industry) and institutional clients. The role included distributing the full range of wealth/ investment alternatives across all asset classes, funding/ gearing strategies, superannuation strategies, retirement plans, estate planning, risk management protection. It also included preparation of educational programs developed to analyse financial products to educate clients and associated staff, and required the need to be proficient in analysing economic related information and market trends which impacted client's portfolios.
