I have teamed up with two colleagues to create Vertical Fox, a new firm to fundamentally change employee benefits procurement and management. Our groundbreaking services reduce employer costs and allow CFOs and Human Resources executives to make faster and better decisions using real time analysis tools. Our services give insurance providers and intermediaries significant benefits through a transparent operation.Prior to Vertical Fox, I was a cofounder of C&B Consulting where I was Director of the wholesale division, which provided marketing, distribution and account services to leading insurance carriers. Before spinning this division off to USI, we helped thousands of employers manage their employee benefit plans.After the spinoff, C&B focused on advising large employers and grew into one of the elite independent benefit advisory firms in the New York market. We became a merger partner with Arthur J. Gallagher in 2007 where I remained for 6 years. As an Area President, I managed one of the firm’s largest benefit offices.I have created software solutions for actuarial analysis and leveraged technology to create innovative service for our clients. At Gallagher, I created, staffed and managed the east coast legislative compliance unit serving customers from Maine to Florida.Earlier, I worked for MetLife providing benefit solutions to large employers. A recognized industry thought leader, I have conducted seminars for diverse audiences including financial and HR professionals as well as healthcare and educational associations.I have been active coaching my children’s basketball, lacrosse and soccer teams. My charitable activities have been recognized by Developmental Disabilities Inc. I am a board member of The Samantha Britton Memorial Fund and The Van Wyck-Lefferts Tide Mill Sanctuary, Inc.‏
