Over the 6 week course, I had worked on extensive solution ideation surrounding the sustainability issues within coffee farming in Vietnam. This project saw us researching local coffee farming practices, the usage of fertilizer and irrigation systems, and the level of education possessed by the farmers. Alongside this research, we found common problems involving sustainability within the farming industry.Once the issues within the industry were known, we then created a solution, founder, market fit analysis as to determine which solution would fit the problem, the team member's skills and knowledge, and the time we had available. This analysis narrowed down our selection to developing a dashboard accessible by any farmer, which will enable them to input their land size, current water and fertilizer usage, to then display a recommendation for improvement. This improvement will ultimately bring the farmers a better profit and a more sustainable farm.In this project I developed further skills in Project Management, Problem-Solution Fits, Critical Thinking and Communication. This project also developed my Time Management and Organisational skills further, as I was both working full time at Humm Group and studying full time at UniSA, all whilst completing this program.For anyone considering this program, I would highly recommend it.
