Projects entailed the development of both front-end (UI development) and back-end (improved scoring, new functionality, ...) features. Subject matter expert on all of the highest volume products. Took the next step and started learning how to be an effective resource manager. This involved the creation of a performance management process for all scientists.

Co-taught a data mining class to part-time engineering masters students. The emphasis of the course covered the following topics: opportunity identification, estimating the value of a data mining solution, process standards for data mining, mathematical problem formulation, complexity control and Vapnik-Chervonenkis theory, optimization algorithms, data and dimensionality reduction techniques, regression methods, and predictive classification. Techniques referenced will include classical statistical approaches, neural networks, decision trees, and local smoothing methods.

Project manager of a team of 11 in a year long project affecting almost all existing CreditXpert products that reduced support volume ratios by 30%. Senior member of another year long project that was designed to recognize problems with credit information collected at the bureaus. Led two score improvement projects. Led a project to develop a product that matches bureau data from all three bureaus and prioritizes the matches based on importance to the bureau scores.

These include: a score analysis, explaining those factors that most positively and negatively affect an individual's score; a score optimizer, involving the simulation of thousands of credit transactions to find which ones would optimally improve an individual's score; a score impact simulator, involving the simulation of everyday credit management behaviour on credit data to see what it would do to the credit score.

Led a project to re-develop a bankcard collections product built off of FDR data.

Led a project to develop a subprime bankcard credit scoring model on a population that has a previous bankruptcy. Co-produced a kernel density estimation tool in MATLAB. Member of a team that built version two of a collections product that used FDR masterfiles.
