In the fall of 2021 I worked on the Independents for Norwalk mayoral campaign team. My primary role was as a political canvasser, going door-to-door to inform people about the party and its goals 25-30 hours per week. After only a few weeks I began to take on more responsibility, strategizing canvassing routes using our voter database. I also helped to keep the other canvassers informed and up-to-date about where they should be canvassing to optimize our efficiency. This was my second time working for mayoral candidate Lisa Thomson, who had also run on the Republican ticket two years prior.

I was hired by dermatologist Deborah Spey, who was a part of the Schweiger Dermatology Group to help develop her personal brand on social media. After evaluating the resources I had available, the products I was going to be promoting and reviewing competitor content I began to create an instagram campaign for Dr. Spey. I created a slide deck of content and developed the tagline #BeautifulinYourOwnSkin. I also began to design potential posts for the campaign, before everything was taken over by the Schweiger umbrella group.

As a busser my duties included greeting customers, bussing tables, serving food, and keeping the bars stocked. I worked 30 hours a week. I was often in charge of cleaning and closing the restaurant at the end of the night, as well as preparing the dining room for the next day. In my second year with the restauraunt I took on even more responsibility, helping to prepare for large events and helped keep inventory up-to-date.
