Peter Constable is currently working as a senior freelance consultant working on a second contract to Kent County Council and until 31/3/24 he was at Canterbury City Council having originally started the KCC roles in August 2019. His work incorporates landlord and tenant rent reviews/lease renewals/surrenders, development appraisals/commercial valuations (including residential Right to Buy) alongside strategic advice to guide acquisitions/disposals.Prior to this he has worked at Gravesham BC , Ashford BC & Thurrock Council having commenced freelance working in January 2019. Peter Constable joined Harrisons in 2017 based in Gillingham. He has over 25 year’s experience in General Practice Surveying for both Commercial and Local Authority clients, specialising in Valuation, Development Appraisal, Strategic Review, Landlord & Tenant & Compulsory Purchase & Compensation work. He is a Registered Valuer and his current role is Associate Director for Harrisons undertaking surveying work for their principal Commercial & Public Sector client’s. In this position & past roles he has gained sound valuation, development appraisal, Landlord & Tenant and CPO knowledge.His specialist experience includes Residential/Commercial property Development Appraisals along with the valuation of Industrial, Office, Retail and Residential units for secured lending & Local Authority Assets for Acquisition/Disposal, Company Accounts/Asset & Strategic Review purposes. Similarly he has acted for Medway Council & Lincolnshire County Councils conducting development appraisals at Strood Riverside and Holbeach to advise on the commercial viability of proposed development schemes as detailed in master-planning proposals.
