My responsibilities include:-Coordination and hire of outside legal counsel to represent the bank to assist in collection and litigation of defunct SBA, USDA and conventional business loans.-Recovery and re-marketing of collateral pledged against commercial loans.-Loan workout and restructure of loan terms for under performing credits.-In depth financial review to assess and implement best course of loan workout strategy.-Audit of all legal documentation to ensure personal and government guarantees are effective and enforceable.-Participation in court litigation against debtor which may include court appearances, depositions, etc.

Responsible for oversight and maintenance of $250 million dollar portfolio which is primarily made up of SBA and USDA government insured business loans.Duties include:-Monitoring of account compliance and performance within bank and government policy/guidelines.-Perform client visits to ensure the business is operating properly and collateral is being maintained.-Monitoring of financial trends on an annual basis to confirm cash flow position is adequate to continue servicing the loan and also to verify any convenants are within compliance.-Continuous customer contact and working with other bank staff to maximize sales efforts and cross sell other bank products offered by the bank.-Responsible for administering proper financial analysis training for staff members in the loan servicing dept. and assist in loan reviews.-Work with outside counsel on any issues involving documentation or payment default and coordinate account turnover to Special Assets Group manager.-Responsible for managing all other assigned bank projects or tasks.

• Responsible for underwriting new small business loan requests in accordance with SBA guidelines. Small businesses include, but are not limited to manufacturing companies, day care facilities, restaurants, construction contractors and several other retail as well as wholesale type businesses. SBA loan cap is five million dollars.• Assigned more complex requests that include the assessment of multiple affiliate businesses and owners in addition to the subject business. • Perform detailed financial analysis on all new requests to determine probability of default.• In depth financial discussions with potential customers in regards to inconsistent financial performance and counsel on financial improvement measures. • Participate in weekly credit committee meetings with the CEO and CCO to discuss and recommend current loan requests.• Responsible for prefunding condition requirements and ensure accordance with SBA.• Responsible for training of new hires and go-to person/team lead within credit department for other analysts.• Initiate and complete projects to enhance existing processes.
