Peter is Principal Business Consultant at P.R & L.F Croft: Management and Small Business Consultants.He is the past Chief Executive of the Parkes Forbes Business Enterprise Centre and the Orana Regional BEC and has had extensive experience advising, mentoring and training business operators across the spectrum of business disciplines. He has a strong personal interest in promoting economic independence for Aboriginal people, and assisting individuals and organisations to achieve their business goals.He has strong links with the small to large business and agricultural sectors and successfully owned and operated four businesses for more than 25 years. These involvements spanned the farming/grazing, hospitality/tourism and management consultancy industries. He spent eight years as an academic in the Faculty of Rural Management, The University of Sydney and specialised in the Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Business and Advanced Diploma of Farm Management programs. He lectured across a broad range of subject areas, and is strong in the application and theory of Management, Marketing, Financial Analysis, Management Communications and issues of Human Resources, Gender and Ethics.In community life, he is a Life Member of the Association of Parents and Citizens Associations and holds a 15 year Long Service Medal with the Rural Fire Service. He received the Dubbo City Community Service Award in 2011 for Services to the Dubbo Community. He was inducted as a Paul Harris Fellow in 2012, one of the highest accolades of Rotary International in Australia. He received a Sapphire Paul Harris Fellow in 2015 and a second Sapphire in 2017.
