I make works on paper, paintings and drawings that are shown in local, state and national exhibitions. Since 2009, I have had solo shows of my paintings and drawings at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, the Anton Art Center and the University Hospital, University of Michigan. Awards that I have received include the Else Pedersen, Elektra Stamelos and Honorarium awards from the Michigan Water Color Society. Since 2008, my work has been shown at the Detroit Artists Market, the Butler Institute of American Art, Creative Arts Center, New Haven, CT, and at Ohio State University-Mansfield, among other places. I taught in the Detroit Public Schools from 1998-2008.
