DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Ensuring that the syrup tanks and syrup transfer lines are in a clean and sanitary condition before syrup and final syrup manufacturing.• Ensuring that all CIP media are prepared in accordance with company requirements and in time• Ensuring that all product recipes are current and followed strictly.• Ensuring that sugar requisition is done accordingly and weighed accurately before dumping into the simple syrup tanks and maintaining the records.• Ensuring that other ingredients requisition is done accordingly and checked for compliance before preparation of the final syrup.• Ensuring that the final syrup brix and volume are within specifications before release to production.• Ensuring that the final syrup de-aeration time is achieved before release to production.• Ensuring that the specified final syrup holding time is not exceeded before syrup is exhausted.• Ensuring proper coordination between syrup room,chemists and mixer operators.• Ensuring proper liaison on calibration status used as weighing balances and DMA.• Ensuring that microbiological sampling is done on weekly basis and feedback given for continual improvement.• Inspection and verification of all incoming maxillary and raw materials that are supplied to the process.

DUTIES:• Preparation of Syrup • Connection of syrup to Production lines as well carring out CIPs.• Measurement of syrup brix to ensure conformity to cbl standards and KORE.• Charging of caustic and chlorine to production lines• Calibration of laboratory equipment.(DMA 4800,DSA 4500,gauges and etc)• Analysis of mixer samples for various Coca-cola brands(gas volume analysis, De-carbonation,brix and Net content ) and process control• Preparation and standardization of reagents• Measurement of absorbance of various beverages(Coke light and coke zero) by use of uv-spectrophotometer• Full chemical analysis of water treatment• Microbiological analysis of samples collected within the plant processing areas daily or weekly as per the set microbiological sampling plan, including water treatment plant samples, mainly yeast and mold for both juice products and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSDs).
