I conducted administrative, library and archival work at the Niels Bohr Archive, an institution for the history and philosophy of science. The Niels Bohr Archive is located at the Niels Bohr Institute, which is the University of Copenhagen Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science.

Established in 1640, the University of Helsinki is consistently ranked among the world’s best universities.My independent research was conducted under the auspices of the university’s Swedish-Language Professorial Chair in History.Having publicly defended a doctoral dissertation on The Emancipation of Political Science (434 pages), I became a Doctor of Philosophy (fil.dr.) with a built-in licentiate (fil.lic.) degree in 2021.The licentiate (fil.lic.) degree is built into the doctoral degree and may be obtained following completion of half of the doctoral degree. The fil.dr. degree is now standardized to 4 (previously 5 and ∞) years. The average completion time is 7.5 years, excluding the many who do not complete. The average age of a new fil.dr. is 42.The doctoral dissertation was submitted in May 2021. The permission to publicly defend the dissertation without corrections was given in November that year. The doctoral disputation took place in December 2021.
