Following the merger of the WMT Group with Moore Kingston Smith I will continue to lead and manage WMT Troncmaster Services, the country's leading provider of specialist advice and support to hospitality businesses including restaurants, hotels, bars and food-led pubs. Our services include healthcheck reviews and audits of existing tronc schemes; designing, setting up and implementing new or revised tronc arrangements; assisting businesses subject to enquiry by HM Revenue & Customs or claims at Employment Tribunals; and managing and running tronc systems on a day to day basis. Our unique service takes away the risk and administration around tronc schemes and provides the independence and impartiality necessary both to ensure compliance for your business and peace of mind for you.Over the last 20 years I have helped hundreds of businesses successfully setup and manage their tronc arrangements. Our clients currently have over thirty Michelin stars between them (some have two or even three!), in excess of 350 restaurants, and thousands of employees who we work with day to day to deliver financial savings plus rewards and incentives that improve performance and drive business. We work with businesses employing anything between 5 and 3,500 employees so no business is too small - or big - to benefit from our help.

I am a partner at WMT Chartered Accountants with particular responsibility for all areas of employment tax issues. I provide practical and proactive support to businesses and their employees covering PAYE, National Insurance, benefits in kind, salary sacrifice and specialist advice regarding issues such as employment status, IR35, compliance with National Minimum Wage Regulations, termination payments, Dispensations and expatriate employees. Additionally I help support businesses subject to enquiries carried out by HMRC including Employer Compliance reviews and full investigations up to and including cases of serious suspected fraud and representing clients at First Tier Tax Tribunals.Finally I assist Construction Industry businesses with specific problems including status challenges and refusal/withdrawal of Gross Payment Status.
