Current• Perform cash settlements, oversee financial data quality in reporting databases, and submit and verify adjustments to financial data for 29 portfolios• Maintain investment accounting, reporting, and record-keeping for diverse financial instruments including Fixed Income, Equity, Private Placements, Mortgage Loans, and Derivatives• Ensure timely and accurate processing of trade activity, income payments, corporate actions, and deal restructurings in sub-ledger systems• Complete… Show more • Perform cash settlements, oversee financial data quality in reporting databases, and submit and verify adjustments to financial data for 29 portfolios• Maintain investment accounting, reporting, and record-keeping for diverse financial instruments including Fixed Income, Equity, Private Placements, Mortgage Loans, and Derivatives• Ensure timely and accurate processing of trade activity, income payments, corporate actions, and deal restructurings in sub-ledger systems• Complete reconciliations to custody banks, trade systems, financial statements, and support for regulatory reporting for SEC and NAIC filing requirements• Compile data and reports in Excel using vertical/ horizontal/ x lookups, macros, pivot tables, data validation, etc. on a daily basis • Generate and implement macros for key controls, asset moves, and other key functions to save up to 100+ hours a year for employees • Utilize Bloomberg on a weekly basis to cross-check payments, dividends, and shares with P&L • Developed initiative to improve onboarding processes to create a shadow template that streamlined new hire processes, eliminating the 4-6 week wait period of new hires time Show less
