I am an SSD Firmware simulation engineer working at Micron Technologies. I am part of the team that developed the SSD controller simulator used to test the firmware for two of Micron’s flagship SSDs: the released 7400 Enterprise SSD and the upcoming 9550 SSD. My position entails the use of object-oriented languages to develop and implement the simulator framework and models that meet hardware specifications running on it. I am the lead designer of the asynchronous behavior of the simulator and regularly interact with the firmware and test teams during integration and delivery of the simulator to those teams as part of their test infrastructure.
