Main aspects of my job role were to look after topman and topshop but also oversee other Arcadia brands within a large outfit store. I was to oversee the visual layout of the store and each department.I would work along side each of the department specialists, helping to read reports and figures working towards a commercially successful brand.Would conduct weekly store walks with managers to explain the best sellers and strengths and weaknesses of each brand.Would train staff on visual merchandising.

My role within the company was visual merchandiser. The main expectations were for me to oversee all visual ideas in store.I would travel to other stores across the UK to check if the brands visual expectations were being followed co-ordinating each of the stores in layout and visual display.Another key part of my role was helping to create ideas behind new trends and how we would package and display them in a store environment.I would work from two sets of guidelines from Europe and USA. Being trained in the different visual practises used and on store layout and flow.I would create instore displays and make floor moves.Set up store windows.Help on press days and at head office.Training new staff on visual merchandising and other related retail skills.Would help with store openings and ordering of fixtures.I have worked in most areas within store including stock control and management.

My responsibilities were overseeing other members of staff on a split level concession in a large department store and working as visual merchandiser updating displays and floor layouts when needed.I trained as a denim specialist and would go to diesel events for new season trends.I would report to head office and area manager.I was involved in all areas of running a concession including tills,stock takes, POS, sale, rotas, banking, writing reports and training.
