Responsible for a small team, managing the Procurement for Enshore Subsea Projects and Assets and the Logistics for both Enshore and Deepocean Subsea Cables and the global Bunkering of the company’s 2 vessels.• Work closely with all appropriate internal and external stakeholders to deliver and improve the procurement and supply chain service.• Ensure all Vendors sourced by the Procurement and Supply Chain team are evaluated and selected through the business Vendor Accreditation Programme.• Issue of appropriate Invitation to Tender / Request for Quotation, discussing queries, analysing quotations and make recommendation to the appropriate budget holders.• Explore new product ranges and services in order to maintain competitiveness and deliver cash / added value savings as identified annually.• Monitor market trends, fluctuations and product availability in order to effectively monitor prices and product lead times and advise relevant internal stakeholders as necessary.• Negotiate prices/rates, programme, scope of works, terms and conditions, etc., to provided best value and formally enter into Purchase or Subcontract Orders to reflect negotiated Agreements. • Act as the interface between customer and vendor to develop and maintain business relationships.• Maintain and ensure accuracy of departments computerised procurement systems and databases in own areas of responsibility.• Analyse financial data, identify errors and solve problems regarding complex invoice queries.• Manage own workload to ensure purchasing deadlines are met.• Providing Logistics support to both Enshore and Subsea Cables for all movements within the UK, EU and the ROW ensuring correct paperwork is generated for Import/Export Movements. • Working closely with Agents to support all vessel port calls and bunkering of vessels around the world.• Working on cost and time saving initiatives to improve ways of working at the Port of Blyth.
