Responsible for a small team, managing the Procurement for Enshore Subsea Projects and Assets and the Logistics for both Enshore and Deepocean Subsea Cables and the global Bunkering of the company’s 2 vessels.• Work closely with all appropriate internal and external stakeholders to deliver and improve the procurement and supply chain service.• Ensure all Vendors sourced by the Procurement and Supply Chain team are evaluated and selected through the business Vendor Accreditation Programme.• Issue of appropriate Invitation to Tender / Request for Quotation, discussing queries, analysing quotations and make recommendation to the appropriate budget holders.• Explore new product ranges and services in order to maintain competitiveness and deliver cash / added value savings as identified annually.• Monitor market trends, fluctuations and product availability in order to effectively monitor prices and product lead times and advise relevant internal stakeholders as necessary.• Negotiate prices/rates, programme, scope of works, terms and conditions, etc., to provided best value and formally enter into Purchase or Subcontract Orders to reflect negotiated Agreements. • Act as the interface between customer and vendor to develop and maintain business relationships.• Maintain and ensure accuracy of departments computerised procurement systems and databases in own areas of responsibility.• Analyse financial data, identify errors and solve problems regarding complex invoice queries.• Manage own workload to ensure purchasing deadlines are met.• Providing Logistics support to both Enshore and Subsea Cables for all movements within the UK, EU and the ROW ensuring correct paperwork is generated for Import/Export Movements. • Working closely with Agents to support all vessel port calls and bunkering of vessels around the world.• Working on cost and time saving initiatives to improve ways of working at the Port of Blyth.

• Set targets for UK Supply Planning Team to achieve availability and customer service level of greater than 99% case fill levels• Review forecast accuracy and drive improvement with the Demand Planning Team.• Manage inventory at all sites with stock cover of c.7 days, while beating inventory targets through collaborative ways of working• Co-ordinate timely delivery of incoming goods; balance stocks across the network as required to optimise cost of inventory though duty suspended purchasing• Develop vendor service levels; set improvement targets for availability, lead time, order frequency, cost of inventory. • Manage obsolescence for date sensitive products; maximising sales revenue and minimising write off• Develop, report and publish KPI information packs.• Continuous team development through objective setting and appraisal process; coaching & use of the Supply Chain Academy alongside regular meetings/reviews.• Drive process improvement and commercial relationships with customers, suppliers and hauliers to ensure that best practices are implemented, trained and maintained throughout the supply chain.

Manage the Waverley Supply Team to schedule on trade production and third party supplied product requirement to Waverley TBS RDC’s. Manage interfaces between Waverley Logistics internal operations, freight forwarders and primary supply channels. Implement inventory strategy and co-ordinate capacity planning & replenishment scheduling for both in bound logistics and internal stock deployment
