Peter's role has involved Traffic and business management in the construction industry throughout Tasmania over the course of his employment, undertaking business development, client management and operational outcomes within the Traffic Management division. Peter has also developed into Labour hire business operations coordinating all skilled labour hire management throughout Tasmania to meet a broad range of customer requirements. This Traffic Control and Labour Hire Coordinator role also requires the following: • Structuring of Safe Work Method Statements• Completion of Site Audits to ensure safe work practices are adhered to.• Meeting and discussing job requirements with Clients on site prior to work commencement.Peter is fully qualified, as outlined in the Traffic Control for Works on Roads: Tasmanian Guide, to prepare Traffic Management plans for all requirements and takes a pragmatic approach to developing full Traffic Management Solutions.As a member of the Spectran Environmental Management Traffic Services team, Peter has help develop and service a multitude of Long Term Client Contracts over the last 2 years, including but not limited to:• Macqaurie Builders• Hutchinson Builders• Fairbrothers• Tas Gas• Hazell Bros • NBN Rollout.

-Organising and schedule Traffic Management on a variety of projects.-Assisting in the development of Traffic Management Plans.-Co-ordinating casual laborers to meet varying on-site requirements.-Interacting and negotiating with clients in order to provide services that match their needs. -Providing both administrative and operational support during periods where surges in the work load require it.-Manage and troubleshoot Information Technology solutions as required.
