I have taken on a new role with Lord Combustion Services as a Contracts Manager.As a former Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, I was responsible for all aspects of mechanical design inc. heating, water, ventilation, air conditioning & medical gases. I have experience in many sectors (education, residential and commercial) although my more recent experience has been within the healthcare sector working with various NHS Clients. I have worked on new build schemes (but more frequently refurbishment schemes) but am familiar with the processes involved with both. I am capable of assessing/interpreting Client briefs, developing feasibility studies and/or budget costings as required and assisting in the development of fee proposals. I also produced/developed tender specifications whether as part of a full design or as a performance specification commission. I am fully competent to liaise with Clients and design team members and can manage main/sub-contractors to deliver a scheme which meets the Client’s expectations. I am an accredited Engineering Technician and affiliated with CIBSE at Licentiate level.
