Titus Tekform Pty. Ltd. is part of the Titus Group of companies that sources, manufactures and markets innovative small components solutions in Australia. As State Sales Manager my role incorporated:• Manage 8 Account Managers including 2 Branch Managers.• Researched CRM, implemented and trained all users in Qld.• Dual calls with all Account Managers.• Mentored and coached Account Managers.• Developed sales strategies with key suppliers on new products.• Recruited new staff members.• Designed and delivered induction and training for new Account Managers

After 10 months with Laminex, I was promoted to Segment Manager - Trade. My team looked after all of the Brisbane Branch’s transactional customers except retail. This was a fast paced role, building a dynamic team with well-defined goals. We actually grew our market share during my time there, which was in the middle of the GFC, and a building downturn. • Managed 6 Trade Account Managers and 2 merchandisers.• Annual Sales Budget in excess of $50M.• Customer base in excess of 800 transactional and 500 non-accounts.• Interview, hire and train and mentor new Sales Staff.• Manage role out and placement of merchandise and information to support new products.• Develop and implement strategies to win back market share. • Manage implementation of national and regional sales strategies.• Develop and maintain a customer service culture.• Uphold Safety procedures and reporting.• Negotiate and tailor individual price offers with a diverse profile of customers.• Act as a motivator and tutor to staff, travelling with them on customer site visits to demonstrate techniques to probing, presenting and obtaining agreement on proposals.• Identify new business and customer opportunities.• Plan strategies to entice new business and oversee execution of these plans.

Utamic Software designed and produced software solutions for a diverse user base including medical, manufacturing and service industries. Products were sold into Europe, America, New Zealand and Australia. I was 50% shareholder and Director at this start up software company. I was the reference architect in regards to the design of the main program - Manager. I also installed and trained new users around Australia, and attended trade shows to demonstrate and sell the Manager product. My manufacturing business was used to road test initial releases and enhancements. I sold my shareholding in Utamic Software in 2011. Manager is still sold, developed and supported by Internetit.

CCW Cabinetworks was started in 1988 by myself and my father. Initially it employed just 2 staff, a tradesman and an apprentice. The business grew steadily to become the largest joinery business in North Queensland. At its peak it had a workforce in excess of 50 fulltime, plus 10 subcontractors. CCW carried out work all over North Queensland and the Torres Straits. The projects undertaken were wide and varied, from multi units, laboratories, banks, hospitals, resorts to project housing fitouts and kitchen renovations. CCW has won many awards for the excellent work produced over the years. I was General Manager, but also oversaw commercial and domestic sales. Using innovative management software, we continually improved procedures, redefined job roles, streamlined bottlenecks, gave transparency to Management. Our systems gave our customers a better experience when dealing with CCW, so we often got preferred contractor status for large projects and could command a slightly higher price. I sold my shareholding in CCW in 2009. I am in regular contract with CCW and the business is still thriving with a strong loyal customer base
