Peter Dunne is Head of Corporate Development at SafetyCulture. Peter was previously Head of Venture Capital at Herbert Smith Freehills. In that role, Peter advised clients across various sectors on technology capital raisings, Private Equity, M&A and Venture Capital. Peter has advised on some of Australia’s largest and strategic capital raisings including capital raisings in respect of Atlassian, Campaign Monitor, SafetyCulture, Deputy, Expert360, Nura, Buckitdream, Social Garden, BigCommerce, PageUp People, OzForex, Elanation, HireUp Holdings, Unlockd, 99 Designs, Iron Mountain, BlueStone, Culture Amp, Simple Technologies and Tyro Payments. Peter drafted the startup employee share scheme documentation adopted by the Federal Government as part of its reforms of taxation legislation applying to employee share schemes and has provided advice in relation to employee share option/remuneration arrangements for a number of those entities above as well as Canva, Redii, Invoice2go and Altruis Health.Peter is on the boards of Dicekids, 40k Foundation and the Balmain Ball Limited and he is captain of an Over 35 Soccer team (which has completely gone to his head).
