First Officer responsibilities operating MD-88/90 aircraft based out of NYC airports.

Responsible for the current and future operational planing of the VFC-111 Sun Downers.

Responsible for all squadron administrative matters: correspondence, budgeting, travel, personnel, recruiting, pay issues, instructions and awards.

Manage general military training for more than 60 personnel as well as aviation specific training for 35 pilots from initial aircraft experience to advanced dog-fighting and large force exercise training.

Responsible for administering over 15 different squadron ground and aviation related safety programs.

Responsible for daily briefing of three and four star flag officers on all operations and significant events within the European Area of Responsibility.

Responsible for adversary support coordination and managing the scheduling of 18 F-5 aircraft and over 70 squadron personnel. While maximizing both in-house training and visiting unit support, efforts directly led to squadron's receipt of the 2010 Noel Davis Battle "E" Award.

Responsible for generating and maintaining all squadron flight and ground safety qualifications and paperwork for 38 aircrew and almost 50 enlisted personnel. Submitted multiple changes to Emergency Procedures that identified major gaps in knowledge and or safety.

Responsible for chairing squadron Aviation Safety Council and Human Factors Council programs, submitting required Naval Safety Center mishap and HAZREP reports, and managing internal safety programs. Efforts to modernize and upgrade programs directly resulted in squadron receiving the 2008 and 2009 Safety "S."

Responsible for overseeing the production of two scheduling officers, tracking daily flight hour expenditure and squadron readiness and managing currency and qualifications of 17 pilots.

Responsible for over 60 sailors. Tracked and approved qualifications and training which resulted in our grade of "Outstanding" on an ordnance load testing evaluation.

Responsible for maintaining the squadron's mission planning materials while in transition from an older outdated system to the newer Joint Mission Planning System and through a work-up and combat deployment cycle.
