I am a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant at Atkinsrealis and I have completed a degree in Physical Geography (BSc) at Lancaster University.From my time at Atkinsrealis, I have gained experience in flood modelling and I am competent using both TUFLOW and Jacobs Flood Modeller.I am extremely passionate about the natural world and how it links to the built environment. I have a working knowledge of hydrology and ecology as well as many other key environmental topics.I am highly skilled at undertaking GIS and remote sensing analysis and I utilised these skills when working on my dissertation; examining the influence of intertidal channels upon salt marshes. I later presented the findings of my dissertation to the key stakeholders within my study area to inform them of the dynamic environment and the environmental threats they are facing due to the erosion of Hest Bank saltmarsh. I am a determined, outgoing, hardworking and friendly person, working well within a team and under pressure. This can be seen through the completion of my Gold, Silver and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and the highest award in Scouting, the Queen’s Scout Award.
