I am a Communication major at Western Connecticut State University with a 3.67 GPA who graduated in May 2022. I hosted a game show called “Gridlock” and reported for a news show called “Election Connection”. I also did some reporting for a class called Media Performance Techniques and wrote about sports for a class known as Sports Writing. Top skills include being very knowledgeable and being very dedicated to certain tasks. I want to get in the news industry. I think I can do this as I can present information without bias and I think I can engage my audience, thus earning their trust.In addition, I also am proficient in data analysis. Between September 2023 and May 2024, I did the IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate. This certificate gained me experience in such programs like Excel and Python and it enabled me to clean, scrape and analyze data as well as creating visualizations with programs like IBM Cognos Analytics which help support the analyzed data and create understandings of what the data is trying to convey.
