I started my career when I was 15, working part time in the summer holiday at Harrods. At this moment, i realised that any type of work, is fundamental to the development of an individual. I left full time education at 17 and chose retail as my profession. I worked for several companies along the way, notably Blockbuster entertainment, where I rose to the position of area manager and Jessops (photo retailer) where I was branch manager for ten years. I have enjoyed a successful career and there are many achievements that I can look back on with pride. However, my health has been a constant pain in the proverbial backside for some fifteen years. I have continued to work during this period (mostly unpaid), to keep my eye in and to help organisations that I care about. My experience has taught me that people are the most important part of any organisation. You look after your staff and they will look after your business. I would be happy to advise any organisation that may be looking for someone with my experience. I have strong principles about working for people who have a moral duty to protect the planet and their staff. I have also gained much experience in the field of mental health. Thank you reading.
