Openreach, a division of telecommunications company BT plc, with excellent maintenance over the fibre & telephone cables, ducts, cabinets and exchanges connecting corporate businesses and homes across the United Kingdom to the national broadband and telephone network. I have had the great privilege of working with Openreach in multi-faceted, managerial roles for over a decade. My commitment contributed significantly to the company’s delivery of successful solutions – with a focus on the well-being and protection of cross-departmental team members during the coronavirus crisis. In my current role of Area Manager, I built and govern a winning team composed of 45 Engineers, Field Coordinators and Desk-based Managers. In compliance with the Openreach Code of Practice and Health & Safety Policies, I maintain the ISO14001 accreditation standards and remain E2E accountable for network builds, repairs and customer-driven activities across Openreach’s fibre portfolio. I also develop and encourage relationships with developers, area managers, directors and Senior Management – executing end-to-end customer outcomes across all programmes of work to greaten revenue, resource decisions and manage major outages through Direct Labour and 3rd Party Partners.

Headquartered in London, UK, BT Plc is the most expansive provider for fixed-line, broadband and mobile services in the UK. My role governed the ‘Data Collectors’ License to make BT Plc an energy-market participant and forged valuable working relationships with internal stakeholders and external contracts. I covered and carried out whole-project completion in the role of Senior Manager, migrating meters from old to new technologies by translating complex problems into workable solutions for continuous improvement. I also managed the performance and formation of the BT, EE, PlusNet Metering Estate and Data Collection.

At the beginning of my career, I worked as a Customer Assistant with Tesco Plc. My role delivered exceptional customer service and supported team members across various stores with competency. I also aided the smooth management of the company’s day-to-day business with an understanding of the store’s operation and layout.
