Management of a growing and dedicated chassis development facility controlling multiple projects with overlapping timeframes. Formulating strategies for all aspects of chassis development, from initial prototype to volume production approval, including ergonomics, chassis dynamics, high speed stability, ground clearance, brake performance, tyre selection, suspension development and ABS. Conducting product and prototype reviews with senior management for the purpose of reviewing and defining specification and strategy direction. Working closely with Triumphs accessory design department to ensure their product range is optimised and meets the rigorous testing and approval requirements of O.E. design. Liaising with suppliers to ensure current developments remain on schedule and new technology is implemented appropriately within future project planning. Providing support to the Marketing department in the strategies of new product launch, specifically development history, highlighting strengths, avoiding weaknesses and optimising product presentation.
