A family friend owns the farm, when I am between jobs, I help out there. I'm still looking for a full-time position, but helping out at the farm keeps me grounded and busy.

 Maintained existing Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 domain.  Created machine and software standards.  Specified and requisitioned all new computer equipment purchases. Added new users and machines to domain, installing standard company software.  Established machine database, with exhaustive information, including date purchased, hardware specifications, software installed, user names/passwords, planned upgrade date and history of issues. Prepared new construction and remodel projects for municipality submittal, reviewed existing project drawings, modified existing and created new drawings to meet submittal requirements

 Maintained existing Windows 2003 Small Business Server domain. Added new users and machines to domain, installing standard company software.  Worked with clients, creating home networks and integrating their computers to their A/V systems. Created sketches, on site, with clients and designers to create CAD drawings of concepts. Generated project pricing and special request drawings for cabinets, counter tops and other custom pieces. Created installation drawings with details for custom pieces.  Managed installers to complete projects and reviewed completed projects to improve consistency. Met with clients, at the project locations, to generate punch-lists and complete job

 Stabilized existing Windows NT 4.0 domain.  Created Windows 2000 servers and migrated office to new domain.  Created back-up server and third server to handle all Internet and mail issues. Created machine & software standards based on users’ position in company.  Specified and requisitioned all new P/C equipment purchases, including printers, copiers and A/V equipment. Installed new machines and all custom software.  Proposed and configured PDAs and Blackberry cell phones, for management levels of company.  Maintained website, updated systems initially from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 Pro, and eventually to Windows XP Pro. Established secondary network for subsidiary company, Wickets Fine Cabinetry.  Established and managed CAD standards for the office, from custom blocks to menus. Trained new users on network and office process, technology and drawing standards. Implemented conversion from AutoCAD to Autodesk Revit. Produced construction documents, concept drawings and sketches. Created construction documents, from ‘as-built’ stage through to final submittal

 Proposed, designed and managed a 75 station Windows NT 4.0 domain.  Established Intranet e-mail and WAN clients.  Created public and private network drives, shared printers, managed permissions and produced script files for use on NT 4.0 Server.  Trained entire company on use of new network.  Designed and conducted general and job specific safety training as the Safety Manager and Chair of the Safety Committee Created and implemented CAD standards, generated blocks, title sheets, layers, and menus
