* Over 10 years Peter has had a leading role in the growth of Macquarie Bank Deposits from ~$3 billion to $44 billion in 2017.* A leader of significant change in BFS. Transformed it from a managed fund business to a bank deposit business by developing a set of products and experiences for our customers.* A leader in the transition of the $10 Billion Cash Management Trust (CMT) to the Cash Management Account (CMA), which gave clients the protection of the Government Guarantee and transformed the structure of the Macquarie banking business.* Successfully developed the CMA to be the leading investment cash hub in Australia. 30% of all SMSFs in Australia now use a Macquarie CMA as their cash hub. Macquarie CMA and Term Deposits have been awarded the best Cash and Term Deposits by Core Data * Led the design, build and launch of the new transaction, offset and savings account on BFS’s new Digital and SAP Core platform. The Transaction account was rated 5 stars by Canstar and is one of the first banks in Australia to offer Apple Pay.* Driven digital innovations and achieved significant cost to income savings for the business.Worked with Extended Leadership team to help the business to become Enterprise Agile. Developed, nurtured and promoted a strong team and virtual team across the business.* Peter highly values Corporate and Social Responsibility initiatives. Peter was Team Captain and the lead recruiter for a number of his 10 years cycling in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Ride to Cure Diabetes event held in the Barossa Valley. Under Peter’s drive and leadership, Team Macquarie has raised over $1m for JDRF.

Managed CBA’s $144 billion home loan portfolio incorporating pricing, marketing, and channel strategy and business development. To achieve balance and margin targets for 2005/06, managed continuous tactical pricing changes that took into consideration economic conditions, yield curve, competitor moves, and our marketing campaigns. Successfully enhanced CBA’s Home Loan offerings and launched new products including a new variable home loan product: the 3 Year Economiser. These new products involved developing business cases, gaining senior management approval, developing a relationship and gaining feedback from CBA’s Home Lenders and brokers and managing the launch of the new products.

Demonstrating Peter’s ability to work across different divisions Peter developed a business case and relationship with Colonial First State and LifePlan to introduce a tax effective education savings product to sell to the retail customer base through the Commonwealth Bank. Over a period of 8 months Peter took this from concept, through negotiations with the parties, to business case approval and launch. Peter then product managed the Education Savings Plan with accountability for all P&L and marketing and sales initiatives.

Held roles in Research and Development, Strategic Planning and Marketing during a time of significant change at SFE. Worked with the Director of Strategic Planning to initiate and execute:• the plan to move from open outcry “floor” trading to fully electronic trading;• widen distribution by creating electronic hubs in major world financial cities to attract global institutional trading firms;• new fees schedule that the exchange clients pay; and • demutualisation of the company. In Research and Development helped develop new futures products including Individual Stock Futures, currency futures, grain and wool futures.In Marketing developed business and marketing plans to profitably maintain and increase SFE's Market Data Business revenue to $7.8M. This involved creating and implementing pricing, product, channel, promotion and incentive strategies to meet monthly forecasts.
