Managing the sales support aspects of Regulatory capital Quantitative Market and Credit Exposure Risk analytics solutions for Banking capital markets as well as leading business development in new markets. The role also involves positioning technology solutions for high performance computing of full monte carlo simulation for real time credit limit analytics and leading sales support for strategic sales activities.

The role focused on market analysis, product management, product positioning and business development for low latency eCommerce treasury incremental credit risk Monte Carlo simulation and limit checking software. The product was highly innovative in terms of speed and sophistication. The product successfully generated profitable new business and won prestigious awards, positioning the company as market leading in terms of innovation, speed and resilience.Worked with partners to develop and launch innovative solutions based upon FPGA, CUDA and High Performance distributed grid solutions.

As technical manager strategic accounts I managed the technology relationship with strategic customers and led strategic sales initiatives. The role also included Sales Support positioning high end risk analytics solution architecture for major sales bids.

Responsible for technology consulting team of 15 employees in EMEA and leading the growth in technology consulting. This including growing the team and enhancing the technical capability of the team. The role also involved successfully improving profitability and the accuracy of budget planning.The team advised on complex IT implementation issues for credit and market risk programmes at some of the largest international financial institutions.

I moved from Reuters to Algorithmics in order to pursue a more customer facing role and extend my business knowledge of Risk analytics.The role focused on sales support for complex Risk software solutions for treasury capital markets. Particularly focusing on the technology aspects of high performance scalable credit analytics solutions as well as the business process surrounding pre-trade credit limit checking. The solutions were successfully sold to a number of the largest participants in the OTC derivatives market.

Responsible for the development of the business plan and of launch and ongoing management of the Reuters order routing and electronic exchange access product. Reuters performed packaging and technical support of the GL Trade software for electronic trading of futures and options on LIFFE and EUREX. Customers included several of the largest US financial institutions. The product was very successfully gaining a reputation for excellence in reliability and service in a highly competitive and demanding market.

The role involved managing a team of 45 staff responsible for the technical support and product management of Reuters information management systems products. The team were responsible for launch of the Kondor+ risk management system, Reuters market data distribution solutions and open APIs as well as support of the Reuters 3000 range of desktop products within the UK and Ireland.

The role involved managing a small team who performed technical sales support for Triarch market data distribution bids. This included the preparation of legally binding tenders and pricing of complete trading room solutions. The team was very successful, winning virtually every sales campaign over a three year period and establishing Triarch as the industry standard solution.
