ec.group, formerly known as edwardstowncarpets, was established in 1963 and is currently celebrating its 50th year anniversary. ec.group has an established and respected standing in the floorcovering industry, recognised both nationally and internationally.During that time span, we have worked towards seven core goals: design, innovation and colour.

This involved managing ISO9001 & ISO14001 accreditation. I started a recycling program for waste yarn which reduced landfill. I reduced electricity, gas and water usage considerably through streamlining of processes and more energy efficient machinery & equipment.

My responsibilities included incoming sales calls, project tracking and customer complaints.

This is the last stage in the manufacturing process of carpet where the secondary backing is applied.
