Peter was a partner at Gray Puksand, a practice he co founded in 1991 and retired from in 2008. He founded Cactus Architects in 2013 after a successful period working on his own as Graymatters, managing a rollout of projects for private schools, individual property investors and a listed property trust.He has worked as architect, developer, manager and builder over his career, so is experienced in all project types and phases from concept design through planning, documentation, contract negotiation and administration, superintendence and full project delivery. He is well connected in the property professions and able to bring the best expertise to any project or problem, whether it be a planning application or a construction strategy.Peter was a Member of the VCAT Planning List, from 2008 to 2021.Cactus Architects has now ceased to operate, with Peter winding it down to focus on the Graymatters side of the business.Graymatters is very active, helping organisations that are short on time or expertise, to get their projects done. This usually involves working in a management or problem solving role with other design teams.
