Retired from full time employment. Was a Key Account Manager for UK Strategic Command and British Army accounts across Airbus Defence and Space's portfolio. This included military and commercial space systems, a wealth of C4ISR capabilities and services, and elements of military aircraft. A particular focus was on secure by design, information integrity, assured services, encryption and key management and Assured Position, Navigation and Timing capabilities. 10 years industry experience involved in shaping future capabilities and investments, as well as supporting various bids at differing stages of maturity and approvals. Acted as a primary interface between the MoD sponsor, MoD operator and Airbus. Had over 36 years military experience, including at various Board levels and across coalition C4ISR capabilities. Served in Northern Ireland, Oman, USA, Canada and Germany, as well operational tours to the obvious places and a couple less obvious. A proven team builder, leader and manager. Understands the risks, issues and opportunities in the Maritime, Land, Air, Space and Cyber domains at the strategic level, but with practical deployed experience of the operational and tactical areas. Arabic speaker who has served with the Royal Army of Oman on Loan Service. Also speaks German and French. Has led an Integrated Project Team with a £250M annual budget.
