Sept 2015 – present: Senior Manager, Identity Services (reporting to Director)- Technical and People Manager of team (35 FTE pan-UK and Bangalore, plus 20 offshore subcon) implementing, operating and transforming BT’s colleague and third-party Identity and Access Management processes. (Typically, 150,000 – 200,000 identities.)- Manager of strategic Access Management user engagement portals.- Manager of BT’s Identity Governance processes and data repositories.- Manager of BT’s white page lookup internal directory and Corporate Data environments.- Responsible for enforcement of Ofcom BT/Openreach legal separation undertakings.- Responsible for provision and distribution of Identity data throughout BT.- Responsible for implementation of BT access-related security policy for over 1800 applications.- Responsible for BT’s access management audit compliance (provisioning and recertification) with external audit regimes for multiple applications: Sarbanes-Oxley/ICOFR, PCI, GDPR, SOC, India Companies Act, Telecoms Security Act, OSPAR, et al.- Responsible for determining IAM/Identity Governance strategy for BT Group, including vendor selection process for a complete change-out of BT’s IGA/IAM technology stack and requirements for new group-wide security processes and cultural attitudes to security. - Recruitment, budget management, objectives setting, salary and bonus determination for unit, KPI specification, deliverables tracking, cost reduction strategies, etc.

- Supporting BT Global Services develop revenue raising opportunities across major accounts with new security propositions. Examples include Norfolk County Council, Coventry Building Society, Singapore Government (in Singapore), Met Police and West Midlands Police, Co-Operative Financial Services (Manchester), Lloyds Bank (London), Bank of Scotland (Edinburgh), Clydesdale Bank (Glasgow), UK Verify identity provision scheme (Treasury Department, London), Bank of Malaysia (London), Paddy Power (Dublin), Dabs.com (Bolton), et al.- Developed lab demos of security solutions including biometric id verification (face and voice) and demonstrated to show capability of BT as an Identity Provider to UK government ministers Lord David Freud and Francis Maude at Dept. of Work and Pensions, Warrington, September 2011.- Ran a vendor selection exercise for a new BT Identity Provision managed service.- Responsible for identification of existing or potential services suitable for adaptation into repeatable solutions; preparation and maintenance of plans and budgets appropriate to creation, enhancement and launch of managed services; negotiation with partner vendors on commercial pricing and future developments pertaining to service components; specification of customer requirements; creation and maintenance of technical roadmaps; achieving PCI compliance; design authority for managed services; budgetary control; creation of internal and customer facing sales collateral, multi-media, press releases, etc; creation of a customer service wrap; promotion of the services within BT and to potential customers and partners; assisting and leading on responses to external customer opportunities; formal launch of the services as officially re-saleable BT products.- Identity Management consultant within Security Practice, working on bids for major UK financial companies, regional and national (UK) government, UK police forces.
