Part-time pharmacist supporting the local community as part of the after-hours team. My work is primarily after hours (including some overnights during 24/7 operations from 2018-2023)), providing primary care services including triage of health conditions, opioid substitution services, absence from work certificates, compounding, dispensing and screening/risk assessment services. Recent service expansion has incorporated all Victorian Statewide Community Pharmacy Pilot services, including treatment of simple urinary tract infections, vaccination services (including travel health).

Ad. hoc position as an oral examiner for the Pharmacy Board of Australia, administered by AHPRA. The role includes delivering of exams, including in role play, and making consensus recommendations regarding a candidate's competency to be a pharmacist.

Lung Foundation Australia is the peak-health body for people living with lung disease, the health professionals and carers who support them. My role as chair of the Pharmacy COPD Committee is to support LFA work effectively with pharmacists to provide high quality COPD screening and enhance the quality use of COPD medicines.The role of Chair supports inter-professional collaboration between other health professions via the COPD Coordinating Committee. Key achievements of the COPD Pharmacy Committee have been overseeing the development of eLearning for pharmacists in COPD screening and COPD management; supporting health promotion of COPD by pharmacists in community, hospital and consulting pharmacy practice; and development of articles for health journals.

My role oversees the technical integrity of the Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP), providing consistent, practical and expert advice in applying accreditation requirements to the operation of Australian community pharmacies. This has occurred during a period of significant program reform to to support a more innovative and flexible assessment process which supports business growth.Other aspects of my role include providing regulatory advice on medicines advertising, development and review of business resources and tools and stakeholder engagement with peak health bodies.

In this position, I served as Guild representative on technical and strategic committees (see below), contributed to Guild projects/programs, developed internal and external communication materials, provided regulatory advice and prepared submissions. The role involved direct staff management and team leadership. Major projects included the development and implementation of the Customer Experience Index program (2015-16), accreditation of pharmacist continuing professional development (CPD) (2012-2015), writing and development of the QCPP Requirements Manual 2011, Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Program (2009-2011) and integration of Pharmacy Practice Incentives to QCPP Requirements (2010-2012).

My part time role of pharmacist at Capital Chemist Chisholm included dispensing, medicine information, patient counselling, vaccination services, professional services, staff supervision, stock management, social media management and managing minor ailments.It was stimulating working in this pharmacy over a long period of time, particularly during substantial physical and service transformation in recent years.

Intern pharmacist at the Wollongong Hospital. Role included providing clinical pharmacy services under supervision including dispensing, patient counselling, staff education, medicines reconciliation, extemporaneous compounding and stock checks. The role was based at Wollongong Hospital, but also included rotations at Shellharbour Hospital and Port Kembla Hospital
