Acting in an IQA role, responsible for a team of 20 Assessor/Trainers.Responsibilities include ensuring all Assessor/Trainers are trained to the required QCA, Intraining and awarding bodies standards. Maximising the efficiency of frameworks through the training and support of staff in the training and assessment process. Create and maintaining of clear and concise records and reports. Supporting Standards Verifier’s visits. Carrying out Verification sampling in Retail Skills L2, Retail Management L3, Retail Sales Professional L3, Customer Service L2, Team leading L2, Management L3, Warhousing L2 & L3, Cleaning and Support Services, Housekeeping and Business Admin L2.

Training and assessing learners on the Retail Apprenticeship programme at level 2 and 3, via E portfolio within Morrisons. Support and motivate learners to achieve their qualification in the Optimum Time. Ensuring that all associated paperwork is completed to NCG, SFA and awarding body requirements.

Responsible for the delivery of Key Skills and Functional Skills within group development days on various national contracts. This includes assisting learners to complete the Key Skills portfolio and tests or supporting them to achieve the Functional Skill in Maths or English, I am currently delivering to level 1and level 2. My responsibilities also include ensuring that all associated paperwork is completed to SFA, Elmfield and awarding body requirements.

Identifying and recruiting learners onto training programmes. Training and assessing learners on the NVQ and Apprenticeship programmes. Support and motivate candidates to achieve their NVQ in the Optimum Time. Ensuring that all associated paperwork is completed to SFA and council requirements. Responsible for assessing and verifying Retail, Customer Service, Business Admin, Advice and Guidance, Cleaning and Support Services, Team Leading and Management. As part of my role I also supported the delivery of Key Skills within various departments within the council. My support included delivering taught sessions to learners to prepare them for the tests, sessions to allow learners to complete their portfolios in a group and one to one support to learners who didn’t like to work in a group setting.

Acting in the role of Internal Verifier for Retail, Customer Service, Management, Business Admin, ITQ, A1 and V1. Supporting a group of assessors in the above areas by ensuring all staff are trained and meet the requirements of the awarding body, Codes of Practice and JAB guidelines. Create and maintaining of clear and concise records and reports. Supporting External Verifier’s visits. Delivering learners induction’s via workshops, Identifying and developing training resources. Within my job role I also act as an assessor for A1, V1, Management L3 and L4, Retail, Customer Service and Business Admin. My duties include training and assessing candidates on the NVQ programme. Support and motivate learners to achieve their NVQ in the Optimum Time. Ensuring that all associated paperwork is completed to LSC and awarding body requirements.
